Guide Review :-

The LG VX8000 is a digital-only phone on the Verizon network, which already poses a problem. In some remote areas, you just won't get a signal. But that's not an issue if you stick around the major cities. It has an excellent display with clear numbered menus and a good speakerphone. The keypad is one of the best I've used so far: crisp, big, solid keys make dialing almost a tactile pleasure -- ok, I'm exaggerating, just a bit. In other words, the LG VX8000 is a good functional cell phone. But it has surprising small annoyances. For example, the low battery alarm is low is so loud I almost had a heart attack every time it beeped. Also, the side keys are surprisingly sensitive and, quite often, just by having the VX8000 in my pocket and moving around, it would press these buttons and beep. You need to find a good way to place it inside your pocket. But, hey, if you can live with these details, the LG VX8000 will certainly do its job well in a reliable way.
